The General Fund supports the League's work to empower voters and defend our democracy. Together with our community, we work to ensure our elections are free, fair and accessible, to protect our environment, and to reduce the influence of money in our elections.

In 1994, the League established the Anne Rudin Scholarship Fund to honor former Sacramento Mayor Anne Rudin and to help other women pursue higher education in public administration and public policy. We awarded the first grant in 1996.
